Two sides — their name on one, their dates on the other.

This curved bar cremation necklace holds a small, symbolic portion of a loved one's ashes inside the bar itself, closed with a screw at one end. Both faces can be engraved — a name, two dates, or a few words in the script you choose — so you are not asked to fit a whole life onto one small surface. It is an urn necklace for ashes and a personalized keepsake in a single piece.

The gentle curve is there for a reason: it follows the line of the collarbone, sits flat against you, and doesn't spin or flip the way a hanging pendant does. To anyone else it reads as a simple bar necklace. Nobody knows what it holds unless you tell them.

The chamber is designed to hold a pinch of cremated remains, not a large quantity. It is meant to be worn rather than kept in a drawer — a quiet, everyday reminder of someone who has not really gone anywhere.

Why families choose this piece

  • Two engraved faces, not one — a name on the front, dates or a message on the back
  • Engraving included at no extra charge — many cremation jewelry sellers add $20 or more
  • Discreet by design: it reads as an everyday bar necklace, and only you know what it holds
  • An artwork proof sent for your approval before we make it
  • Mini fill kit and gift box included, ready to give or to keep

How your engraving works

  1. Choose a template and enter the name, dates or words you would like engraved on each side.
  2. We send an artwork proof for your approval before production begins.
  3. Reply to confirm and we make it. If we don't hear back, we use the default layout shown in the template so your order isn't delayed — and you can message us any time to change it.

Caring for gold plated cremation jewelry

Gold plating is a surface layer, and on any plated piece it softens with years of daily wear — that's true of every gold plated necklace, not only this one. To keep it bright for as long as possible: keep it dry, take it off before showering or swimming, and put it on last, after perfume and lotion. Wipe it gently with a soft cloth when it looks dull. Worn this way the finish holds up well. If you'd prefer a finish that will never change, our Silver option is uncoated stainless steel.

Filling the bar

The chamber opens with a small screw at one end. Work over a sheet of white paper, so that anything that spills can be tipped straight back in. Fill slowly using the funnel, then tighten the screw fully. For permanent security, a tiny drop of glue on the screw threads will seal it.

It does not have to be ashes. Some people fill theirs with a lock of hair, sand from a place that mattered, or fur from a pet they lost.
